Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I feel more balanced physically, mentally and spiritually when I am not ingesting any animal products. I can concentrate better, sleep better and have hightened intution. My sense of self is stronger as I am contributing to not only my health but the health of the planet as well.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I LOVE being in nature...my favorite places are the California Beaches, Sanibel Island in Florida, the Grand Canyon and Sedona, Arizona. I also grew up in NJ and NY and most certainly have a sweet spot for those areas! Culture, music, art, people and food...
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Tofu, edamame, soy ice cream...and I have never met a fruit or veggie that I did not like : )
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
The Jungle by Upton Sinclair. I also read the NY Times everyday as they have liberal yet not overly biased views of politics, economics and the environment.
