In 2009 I started making vegan tamales for family and friends -- they were a hit! So I started Boulder Tamales and now offer many different flavors and varieties. I personally make all the tamales by hand with organic corn masa and extra virgin olive oil, (instead of lard). The vegan tamales are also available in local health food stores across the front range. After 15 years I still enjoy making them for happy customers.
