Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
Ever since I was a little girl I always felt wrong eating meat, knowing that this had came from an animal that didn't want to die. As soon as I decided to officially become a vegetarian a weight was lifted off of my shoulders. I am now slowly working towards becoming a vegan through my research and time and I am almost there!
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
HappyCow gives you a great opportunity to stay educated and updated on the newest and latest things near you. It's also nice to connect with other veggies and see their opinions on places!

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
Animals in Translation is an amazing book about how the mind of domesticated animals works. Animal Wise is a book about how the minds of more wild animals work and insects. I love reading books about how the minds of animals work to remind myself that they are individuals and not just "robots".
