Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I chose to be vegan because I believe it is better for the earth, myself, and the animals. I chose to be vegan to reduce my global footprint, and better the environment. It helps me to be healthier, and I chose to have animals as my friends and not as my food. Also, I love pigs and I cannot imagine eating them:)
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
Because HappyCow has vegan and vegetarian options for all over the globe, and when I travel that proves invaluable. Also the whole idea behind the website is something I fully support, and therefor would like to be part of.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I love Paris and Europe. I would like to visit Greece one day.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
I love Plumeria Cafe in San Diego, and I also love to eat anything my mom cooks. She is a wonderful vegan cook.
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
Isa Chandra Moskowitz writes some very good cookbooks and well as a wonderful blog that is completely vegan. Her recipes are healthful and delicious.
