Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
There are many reasons why I eat vegan: - Industrial Farming is cruel, a danger to the environment, public health and it is unsustainable - My body feels better and is healthier - To change how people think about food - My love for animals and food
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I believe it's a great place to connect with fellow vegans and a great resource. Having this resource makes it easier for meat-eaters to see how many awesome vegetarian/vegan options are available out there.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I lived in Canada for most of my life, visited 1/3 of it's provinces. I also spent the past few years in and out of the United States, Germany, France and Belgium. I love traveling and would like to discover as many places as possible
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Green curry with tofu, sushi, tofu scramble, vegan burgers and smoothie bowls.
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
Eating Animals (book), VegNews (magazine/instagram), Cowspiracy (documentary), Lauren Toyota (Youtuber) she shows how easy it is to eat vegan. Minimalist Baker and Hot for Food (blogs). Finally, SolangeteParle (YouTuber).
