More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I grew up in a beautiful farm near the Portuguese coast, my childhood was spent between sunny beach playful days and the dark traumatizing "slaughter" days. Because of the intense trauma of watching hundreds of animals being killed (some of them having slow & extremely bloody deaths), my parents never managed to force me into eating meat. After all, those were the animals I played with ,cared for and loved dearly. Now, I've been a vegan for almost 14 years... I didn't die of anemia or protein deficiency as many hard core meat eaters and ignorant doctors thought I would, hehehe

I travel the world extensively, happy cow makes my life so much easier!

I loved all places I visited with the exception of India (long story!). I'm planing to travel by land from Lisbon to Asia searching for the best vegan food!
