Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
There is no REASONABLE excuse for the horrible conditions that billions of animals every year have to endure from birth until their violent death. Our love for flesh and their by-products are ruining our planet. We have other options - WE DON'T HAVE TO CONDONE THESE ACTIONS!
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
It is invaluable to have a resource for animal/earth friendly restaurants to enjoy when dining out or traveling.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
Milwaukee - Cafe Manna; Madison - The Green Owl; Vancouver - The Naam; Victoria - Rebar. I would love to eat at Sublime, Millenium, Candle/Candle 79, and Cafe Flora (among others).
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
All QUORN products, Morningstar Spicy Black Bean Burgers, Boca Original Vegan Burgers.
