More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
Consent--I believe in consensual relationships, so I don't take things from others without getting their express consent.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I have gotten SO MUCH from the reviews posted here, traveling all across Canada, Spain, Portugal and Kenya (I'm half-Kenyan, but just love finding veg community), that I had to give back.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I've loved: Lisboa and Porto, Portugal; Salvador, Brazil; Maputo, Mozambique; Sydney, Australia; Olympia, WA, USA; Asheville, NC, USA; and Santa Cruz, CA, USA. I would like to visit: New Zealand, more of Australia, Greece, Thailand, the Amazon, Chile, and Cape Verde
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Seitan, delicata squash, vegan ranch dressing, frozen grapes and bananas, peanut butter oatmeal and soaked raw walnuts.
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
Be Here Now, and anything that reminds you of how beautiful this world is and how much we could benefit from cherishing it, every day.
