More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I can't actually think of a reason NOT to be vegan. It's more compassionate, better for human health and well-being, better for animals, better for the environment, fairer in terms of trade, better for the economy, etc etc.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I've found HappyCow to be a great resource when travelling - I couldn't have survived without it, especially in Valencia (Spain) and New York.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
Better Burger in New York and Atlas Cafe/Bakery in New York were AMAZING. Also went to a great cafe in Hastings (England) and lovely restaurants in Valencia but can't remember their names! Love The Blue Bird Cafe in Auckland (New Zealand). Burger Fuel and Hell Pizza in NZ have good vegan options. Would love to dine at a raw restaurant such as Saf in London.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
I love different styles of eating, such as Italian, Thai, Indian, Japanese and Mexican. I also love vegan burgers!
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
The Vegan (UK Vegan Society magazine) and Vegan Voice (Australian) are great magazines. Ani Phyo and Shazzie have published great work for raw foodists.
