Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
My compassion for all animals, and my desire to be happy and healthy. Forks over Knives was a big help with understanding the benefits to a plant based lifestyle.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
Broadening my dine out options and possibly gain some likeminded friends.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I love travelling and hope to continue my adventure all over the world! So far, I've been all west of Canada, only Seattle in the states, Rural Japan and Paraguay (my birth country). I hope to visit most of Europe, and Australia.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Bananas!! So versatile :) Most fruits honestly, tropical by far are the best though.
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
Forks over Knives, Vegucated, and if you want to have a blunt awakening, watch anything with Gary Yourofsky.
