More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
In the most basic terms, I am vegan because it is the only reasonable and compassionate choice to make in a society in which eating/killing animals is not necessary for survival. Killing for taste preference or fashion, in my opinion, is barbaric and nothing less than evil.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
It's a great resource for traveling as a vegan.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
Barcelona is the greatest city in the world.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Sadly, I am a mock meat addict.
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
I love VegNews Magazine. As for books, Terrorists or Freedom Fighters by Best/Nocella is a great book about organizations like the A.L.F. Whether you agree with ALF actions or not, it's a really interesting read. I'm also a big fan of Diet for a New America. That book inspired me to go vegetarian and then vegan about 14 years ago.
