More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
For the animals, the environment, and health!
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
A friend and coworker of mine wrote a great powerpoint on vegetarianism and happycow was listed in the reference section. Of all the things listed in that section, it is the one I still visit on a daily basis. I love the resources here and the warm reception we are greeted with by Eric and Diana.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I love Japan, I haven't been back in many many years and would love to go back sometime. Also Hawaii as that is "home". I want to visit: Hong Kong, Vancouver/Toronto (okay a lot of Canada), Australia, New Zealand, Europe (mostly Germany and England), Seattle, and Portland (yes, I know, I've been to over half the US but I've never been to those 2 cities even though I live in California).
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Pickled vegetables, just about any kind (pickled garlic is my favorite). I love shiso and anything it flavors. Natto! Okay let's just list stuff: nori, roasted chestnuts, roasted vegetables (beets, turnips, parsnips, etc, etc), avocado, tofu, boiled peanuts, all kinds of fresh fruits and vegetables, raw almond toasts, beans, rice, miso soup, especially with daikon, okay, this list will go on forever, let's just stop now.
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
Fast Food Nation, Veg News, Vegetarian Times, will think up more ^_~

For some reason I couldn't send you a PM so I'm going to send the questions over this.
Thank you so much!
Okay here are the questions I came up with:
What is daily life ike in your profession?
What is the best part about your career?
What frustrates you the most about it?
How do you cope with that frustration?
How did you get to where you are today (college, internship, applying for jobs)?
What are some important skills to have in your career feild?
Oh and I need to know if it is okay to directly quote you in my paper.
Thanks again!
-Jillian

[sup]Hi Tatiana! Thank you for the message. Ron and I will have to take a trip up that way in the near future. We do buy Azna Bakery products in Sacramento, mainly at the Gluten Free Specialty store located on J Street between 26th and 27th streets. Yes, yes, yes, little old Sacramento (with its two million people in the metro area) has its own Gluten Free Store that is almost entirely vegetarian and vegan.
