Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I became vegetarian four years ago and currently I'm almost vegan. My first reason is for the animals. Also the positive health benefits I found since kicking the meat and dairy.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
To connect with people who share a love for delicious veggie food.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
SanFrancisco CA was one of the best vacations I went on. The choice of great vegetarian/vegan restaurants is endless!

The China Study cookbook is one of my favs. I have made numerous recipes for dinner and parties from it and always had positive feedback ( both from meat eaters and veg heads). Also Eat To Live by Dr Joel Fuhrman is a great way to get educated on plant based nutrition.
