More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I learned how animals actually live on commercial farms and it's not something I want to support. I could have decided to only buy animal products sourced from farms that give their animals more space and respect, or from sustainable fisheries, but I'm a person of extremes and decided to go full vegan. This seems like a simpler solution than trying to navigate the grey area of "humane" animal products. It's also more environmentally friendly.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I joined so I could review and add listings. HappyCow is a great directory of veg-friendly restaurants and is super helpful for veg*ns. I want to help it thrive by sharing my knowledge and experiences.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I've been to and liked Michigan, Colorado, Montana. I don't have the travel desires that a lot of people have.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Vegan pizza, tacos, burgers, Mediterranean food, Ethiopian food, Indian food.
