I have been a vegetarian for over forty years. It is not a boring, but rather an adventurous, delicious and exciting cousine. Vegetarianism makes sense on so many levels....

More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I don't typically preach, but seeing that you ask...I can't comprehend the concept of eating animals. Humans CAN survive without doing this. Vegetarianism is the environmentally friendly alternative. I think that this diet choice encourages you to expand and explore culinary options moreso. It's healthier for the body - i have no doubt in my mind about this. It's generally more cost effective being a vegetarian and who can complain about that? Being a vegetarian back in the 70's I felt very self conscious but as an adult, I am extremely proud of myself.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

I have used Happy Cow as a resource for places such as Russia, Indonesia and Mexico and I simply want to contribute. I'm only going to write reviews on restaurants that impress me - that's my aim. That being said, there was a particularly bad one I visied in Bali a couple of years ago...I would warn people about that if I could just remember the name...it was a scary experience indeed!

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
