Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I prefer to be Vegan for ethical reasons and I enjoy beer with no animal products in it. Barnivore is my friend.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
It is great to have a place for other Vegans to come together and leave reviews on great restaurants.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
My husband and I love driving up to San Francisco along the coast from San Diego. We would love to go to Portland because we hear they have great Vegan restaurants.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
My favorite meal is Vegan fish tacos and my favorite brewery at the moment is Angel City Brewery in LA, they make a great IPA.
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
I bought The Vegan Zombies cookbook a couple months ago and it is fantastic. It even has some recipes for doggy deserts.
