More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I believe the meat, egg, and dairy industries are terribly disgusting. It is something I'll never understand how someone could take great pleasure in consuming the body of a dead creature that once had a life, a mind, and a heart.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

I am always interested in new veggie friendly options popping up locally, as I have recently switched from vegetarian to vegan.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

I have travelled quite a bit for my age, I have visited Italy three times, Spain, Mexico, and this spring will be my third time to France. I am so so lucky to be able to experience these various cultures, and have a slight obsession with the art of language. I am currently four years into learning French, and I have recently picked up Russian. I hope to eventually live for at least a year in Europe, to soak up as much of the many various cultures I can, and learn as much about different people as possible. :)

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

I LOVE TOFU DON'T JUDGE ME! I am greatly at the mercy of the smell of BBQ flavored tempeh bacon, various vegan ice creams fill my freezer (JK just one shelf ;), and a good bowl of vegan mac n' cheese will ALWAYS hit the spot.
