More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I'm strictly vegetarian but empathise with veganism a lot and would like to eventually cut out dairy altogether. I was brought up vegetarian and am very grateful for it. I know that my carbon footprint is a fraction of the average Westerner's, and I feel comfortable knowing I am not doing anything that has to unnecessarily harm another living creature.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
The reason I joined this Community is because I would like to meet other vegans/vegetarians in Spain. It's not easy avoiding meat when you are in Spain, the alternatives are pretty dull most of the time, so the more support I can garner the better.

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
I am a big fan of the VegiDeli range and I like the fact that they use a mixture of wheat and soy protein. I have been to a vegan Buddhist Thai restaurant in the West End which was some of the best food I've ever tasted.
