More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

For the animals.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

Because I love traveling to different vegan/veg-friendly places.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

I would like to live in NYC for three months and go to every vegan place. Portland and Houston

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

I love coffee with vegan creamer, chocolate cake from my Loving Hut, pizza, chocolate, mashed potatoes and gravy, apple sage field roast, and gardein's chicken tenders. Dandies jumbo marshmallows.

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:

I recommend "Lullyby" by Chuck Palahniuk. The author probably isn't even vegan, but one of the characters was an extreme vegan who didn't want to eat anything that cast a shadow. I looked it up because I thought it was ridiculous and stumbled upon real animal cruelty and reasons why people go vegan. I gave up meat that night. Seriously, it's like I lifted this awful veil and was relieved that all I had to do was just stop eating meat and that would be one big step. This fictional book changed my life forever in the best way.
