Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I've fallen in love with being vegan because I love animals. Plain and simple.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
Happy Cow makes it easier to find vegan food in your area. Without it, I would be a lost bird.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
Green in AZ is my all time favorite vegan place to eat. I would like to explore California and Colorado for more vegan restaurants.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Anything that is not vegan can be made vegan, so anything is within limits. So basically my favorite foods include any type of vegetable, rice, and tofu. I'm also a huge Thai food lover.
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
Everybody knows of Earthlings the documentary, but I would also recommend Food, Inc. The vegan stoner cookbook is also a good read.
