- I am mostly Vegan, but I occasionally cheat so I call myself a Chegan. yep please feel free to feel superior to me. I am not here to play the I am super vegan I do not feel that I am a better person than somebody that chooses to eat meat dairy on the regular. I think we all make our own choices and should lead by example, but not push our beliefs on others in a self righteous way. Just be happy and do less harm. My Daughter is Strict Vegan so I have set account up with her in mind.

More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I just have always preferred a non meat based diet. I quit eating pigs at 15, cows at 16 then fish and chicken followed. I got away from vegetarian after several years now I'm back to a non meat eating life. I feel great.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I have been an active yelper for years and have been very disappointed in the filters. You can sort Vegan and have a bunch of places come up that might have 1 Vegan option on the menu and I have been convinced there has to be a better way. HC has found the better way.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I love visiting the Southern United States. The food is not my favorite but just the beauty of the land and the people is great. I would like to visit South America in the next year.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
I am obsessed with Mitase's BBQ pork rolls as well as Sea Birds avocado tacos
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
I'm currently reading the Yonnalessee Girls Riding Club, it is an interesting commentary on the cruelties of life in the 1930 even in elite society.
