I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
To find grub and to try to improve restaurants' vegan options by review.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
Horizons cafe in Philly (now Vedge), Millennium in S.F...need to get to NYC.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Brands: Daiya for cheese, Uptons for crumbled seitan, Westsoy for chicken seitan, Ray's for traditional seitan, Earth Balance for margarine, Blue Diamond Coconut-almond milk, Coconut Bliss and Purely Decadent ice creams, Tofurky for dogs and brats and babs, and fyi, Trader Joe's savory seasoned tofu tastes like a mild hot dog.
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
