Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
Not only for my belief that animals are not ours to use and kill to eat and wear but how can anyone argue with science? Vegans not only have great health benefits but there are many enviorment benefits as well.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
Great resource from real people, I used it so much personally that I decided I needed to join to share my experiances with others.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I live in Portland, which is a very vegetarian friendly city, although I wish there were more 100% VEGAN places. I have visted Vancouver BC a few times and love it, Dharma Kitchen is great! :)
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
nachos with nut. yeast, sloppy joes with tvp, and tofurky sandwiches!
