Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:

Books: Kinship with All Life by J. Allen Boone; Animals and the Afterlife by Kim Sheridan; Living Among Meat Eaters by Carol J. Adams; Vegetarianism by Bodhipaksa; The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents by Terry Pratchett; Bambi and Bambi's Children by Felix Salten; Beautiful Joe and Beautiful Joe's Paradise by Marshall Saunders; The Ballad of Young Tam Lin AND The Reprise of Tam Lin, both by Patricia A. Leslie (yes, me) - first 2 books in my ongoing fantasy-romance "Randolph Family Saga" series, where all the protagonists are vegetarian; no meat feasts in my writings!
