More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

1. I believe animals and their by-products(cheese, yogurt) are not healthy for us at all. I have seen more scientific evidence that we are NOT suppose to eat those foods then evidence saying we should. 2. I was always a HUGE animal lover, well I thought I was. Didnt realize I truly wasnt until I watched the clip from the movie Earthlings on pets. I saw videos of terrible things happenings to your normal companion/ best friend animals dogs and cats. I felt such pain and sadness. Thats when it clicked that their is no difference between a cat or pig or donkey or hamster. If I pamper/spoil/cherish (which my cats have always been)one type of animal and not all? That can be compared to people choosing a race over another. Someone who loves their own color/ race but hates other people of a different color/race. But its what we are taught, farm animals are food and kitties are your cuddling buddies. Its crazy now how I think of all the kids movies I watched. Movies like Bambi where the baby deers dad dies and a normal family thinks it so sad. But then ironically the family goes on a hunting trip the next day. So I believe deep down everyone loves animals its just so embedded into us to eat meat we just do, we dont think. Some people just want to be in denial instead of actually feeling the sadness of seeing what really happens to these animals in Factory Farms. But people need to feel that sadness so then we can change it! Living in denial does nothing, for nobody. Just gives you a false thought of everthing is okay. People are just scared of the truth.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

Ezra's Enlightened Cafe- Beautiful food! I felt full and satisfied when leaving. Rainbow bakery- havent had a donut in so long and these were like cake donuts. Bought 6 donuts plus a cinnamon roll, perfection!
