Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I loved my visit to Korea when I was 13. It is a beatiful country. There is a great deal of history and a very different culture from America. I would love to tour the world and see each country as it is, not the tourists version.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Asian is my top all around choice for food - Pad Thai, Tom Kha soup, Sushi, dim sum, tofu sang and anything with cocnut and curry. Yummy! Pizza and nachoes have to make the list along with dalmas, hummus and tabuli! Yummy!
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
My favorite book of all times is Tao of Pooh, next would be De of Piglet. I have loaned out my copies several times and always make sure they come back. They are well worn with love. My favorite magazine right now is VegNews. They don't preach. I used to like Vegetarian Times but they became too preachy for me. I love all the great article in VegNews - my favorite section is I Can't Believe It's Vegan. It is awesome - even with my busy schedule I manage to read it cover to cover every time it arrives in the mail.
