More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I became a vegetarian in January 2005 after a school trip to a pet food factory - I was nearly sick! The thought of eating meat disgusts me. I turned vegan in March 2015 mostly for health/ beauty reasons; I wanted clear skin and to lose weight and I'd seen a lot of rawtil4/ 801010 videos on YouTube. I'm really enjoying the lifestyle and now looking more at the ethical side of veganism. I'm very glad that I took that extra step.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

A friend of mine found the app to be very useful when looking for vegan restaurants in Bali.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

I've been to a lot of great places... I live in Bangkok so it's pretty easy for me to explore Southeast Asia. I suppose in the not too distant future I'd like to go to Japan, India and North America.

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

Banana 'nice cream', mango sticky rice, coconut ice cream, som tam (Thai spicy papaya salad), vegan Thai green curry, all vegan Indian food, all vegan Mexican food, vegan pizza, SANDWICHES!
