More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
Out of compassion for animals.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
To find food when traveling, and also to help hapless veg travelers like myself.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
Favorite places for vegan food: California, Portland, and New York. Tokyo isn't bad either :) I'm currently exploring living in Japan, and I want to visit South America in the near future.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Everything sweet, and currently daifuku (Japanese rice cakes filled with red bean paste).

About food? I think Eating Animals by Jonathan Foer is very accessible to non-vegetarians and would make a great gift.
