Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

shouldn't carnivores have to explain their reasons for not yet being vegetarian? i can't think of any good reasons to eat meat. hence i don't need reasons.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

i like variety and i like choice and good food. especially when you travel, it's always a great opportunity to try and learn something new. happy cow has been and still is wonderful find something new.

i'd say, it all depends on how things are being prepared and not so much on the dish itself. but my all time favorite as a dish probably is a fresh GAZPACHO.

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:

i do recommend e.f. schumacher's "small is beutiful" or -more modern- the interviews with peter joseph on youtube. how that's related to being a vegetarian? it isn't. except for the fact that schumacher and peter joseph both point out -in their own words- the importance of turning towards a resource based economy. being vegetarian/vegan probably is a good first step towards that end.
