- I was born in Berlin, Germany, but have been in California since 1972. Currently, I'm working part-time for a estate planing attorney locally. I also volunteer time at my local synagogue. I love movies and see lots of them in my favorite movie theaters here in San Jose. I'm an animal advocate (I love them all, great and small) and have two cats. Those who know me, will tell you that I'm loyal to my friends and family. I like the closeness of friendship and togetherness.

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I sole reason of being vegan is my concern for animals. The meat and dairy, and poultry industries abuse animals terribly and I want no part of that. Furthermore, a plant-based diet is a lot more healthy and better for our planet Earth.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I like to stay innformed about vegan restaurants opening and closing. When I do travel, I use Happy Cow to find out about vegan restaurants.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I have been to Riccione, Venice, Florence, Siena, Milan in Italy; London, Rome, Paris, Vienna; many places in Germany; St. Gallen and Lucerne in Switzerland; the principalities of San Marino and Liechtenstein; Jerusalem and Tel Aviv; visited the states of Nevada, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, New York, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, and Connecticut, and Nova Scotia and British Columbia in Canada. I would love to see Belize, some of the Caribbean Islands and Hawaii, and go back to Israel. I would like to take a cruise to Alaska and see Niagara Falls one more time.

Love all kinds of fruits, potatoes, corn, cauliflower, avocados, tomatoes.
