Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
In 1975, at 16 years of age, I followed the advice of many sages through the millennia, I sat quietly and focused on 'knowing'. After around seven hours I had a profound experience and insight. Despite not being consciously aware of a vegan / vegetarian option, through a profound experience of connection I instantly became vegetarian and aware of the practice of ahimsa.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I travel extensively and always on the look out to both eat ethically and support those who actively provide that opportunity.
