Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
Why should we let animals suffer more than they have to when we have the choice? Besides it is less cruel thing to do and also better for the environment in many cases.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I would like to get to know other people who I might have something in common with. Happycow has been very helpful in finding organic/vegan options before going on holiday and in setting new destinations.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
Places I have already visited: Amsterdam, Ghent Places I want to visit: NYC, SF, Portland OR, Seattle, Montreal, Croatia - Dubrovnik, Montenegro, and Japan.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
seitan, sausage (bratwurst style), vegusto and wheaty products, sweet potatoes (spicy baked), salads, cucumbers, calamata olives, chickpeas, sourdough bread, tabouleh, pizza, burger and hummus.
