Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
First of all, I decided to take action to prevent animals being tortured by human animals. Then, when searching about that lifestyle, I found out that my natural diet was vegan. Globally I find that choice ethically right, healthy for me, other animals and the planet.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I wrote to Gary Yourovsky in order to thank him for his inspirational speeches and actions. In his answer he pointed various things, including this refreshing website!
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I've been to Sevilla, Montréal, Ecuador, Maldives and Scotland. I really enjoyed my time over there. I'd love to visit Japan, Irland, Island and Norway. I do like islands in general I think :)

For the moment, I'm in my transition step (from vegetarian to vegan diet). I eat only vegan since one month. So I'm not able to answer that for the moment. This is a great time of various experiment and feelings.
