More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I was working in an ice cream shop on my break eating a cone of Gold Medal Ribbon and Chocolate Mousse Royal. I thought about all of the crap that cows have to go through so I could have that ice cream. I became a vegan. I didn't quit my job though, which some people will probably shun me for, but I liked it and it got me through college.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
Cause I like to eat vegan food, especially good desserts, and wherever I go, I know where to eat! Being able to talk to other vegans and finding out the places they eat is great too! I don't know any other vegans, so this is a good place to chat!
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
I love vegan desserts and Turtle Mountain Turtle Tracks ice cream. There is an awesome vegetarian Thai place in Portland that is the best ever. Fortunately I don't eat much of the above very often, so it doesn't show.
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
One of my favorite things is to go to the local humane society and play with the kitties. The humane society has three rooms and the cats get to run around free. Sometimes four or five will be on my lap with more trying to fight there way on. It is also a no-kill shelter, so I support it every way I can. I recently became a foster parent for "Paws to Adopt" so I have a little rugrat named Blackberry running around with my cats. I am not quite sure if I will be able to give her up!

We just read your review (Baagan) and are SOOOO sorry that happened to you!! You are absolutely right that we should have posted the closing on our web site and/or Facebook and we are embarrassed for not thinking about that! We are very new (opened for a few weeks) and this taught us something important! Please accept our humble apology, and will you please accept a free meal from us, for your entire family? We would appreciate you letting us try to make it up to you.

Yes, LM, there are more veg-friendly folks in Longview-Kelso. Can you believe it? We need a decent Thai restaurant here! And a Veggie Grill or Native Foods!
