- Please understand that I am a passionate and compassionate animal activist, which includes being an activist for all life, including humans. I will respond truthfully to every post that reaches my FB page that has pictures of food and/or animals. As someone willing to 'bear witness' to the inherent cruelty of all animal industries, I speak out for those victims whose voices and lives are being disregarded and those slaughtered. It is unethical to turn and animal, fowl, or fish into a commodity. The moment any one becomes a commodity, s/he loses their freedom and is ultimately put into harm's way. Animal agriculture is also responsible for over half of all environmental destruction, is a leading cause of social injustices and contributes to people starving throughout the world.
