Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I'm vegan because I don't consider that animals are my property and to have a lower negative impact on the environment. If a vegan diet benefits my health is just a bonus, not the reson why I became vegan.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

Happy cow is a great way to know where the vegan and vegan friendly places are all around the world and to have and give feedback about them.

If you don't yet understand the importance of being vegan go to Youtube check out Gary Yourofsky's speech, Cowspiracy, Earthlings, do a bit of research. If you are just vegetarian, take into consideration that male chickens and cows serve no purpose for eggs and dairy therefore they are killed soon after birth, and female chickens and cows after being slaves their entire lifes all end up in the slaughterhouses you so much oppose in meat.
