More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
Taught about about food chain at age 6, including a video of what goes on in slaughter houses. Gradually started questioning where meat on my plate had come from and after six months had stopped eating it altogether. This was in 1974... I still have an aversion to the idea of eating animals but am ok with those who choose to do so. I am semi-vegan in that I dislike a number of dairy products (most cheeses, yoghurt and "visible" eggs). Not a fan of faux meats although have been partial to the occasional Linda McCartney sausage roll!

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
California and the UK stand out as two of the most veggie friendly places on earth and I have been lucky enough to live in both. Want to explore more of Asia.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Bean chilli, chana masala, houmous and tofu.
