- I like food with personality. I have a lot of reasons behind my choice to be vegan, and I'm unapologetic about being vegan. However, while I don’t hesitate to explain the reasons to those who ask, I generally don’t argue the ethics with non-vegans. I prefer to show them great food that happens to be vegan. While I love and support good vegan restaurants, I almost prefer restaurants that cater to both vegans and non-vegetarians because I think they do a lot to show people how easy and fulfilling it is to enjoy a meal without animal products.
