Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I like to see animals as potential friends rather than potential food.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

lentils, brown multi seeded bread, rye bread, carrots, potatoes, muesli, grapes, tomatoes, mooli, red rice, peas, pistachio nuts, apples, bananas ( in summer ), cocoa, TREK bars.

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:

Aesop's Fables, Trail magazine, Fantasia, Animal Liberation
