More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I feel that vegan food is the right diet for me; I feel more energetic and healthier. Moreover, I somehow "know" from "my deep inside" that this is the right way for me. Plus, I think vegan diet is a lot more sustainable for the human race on the long term than meat-eating. Also, I don't want any animal to be treated cruelly or slaughtered because of me.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

To find vegan restaurants nearby as well as recipes. To chat with like-minded members in the forums.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

Cape Cod, MA, USA. Absolute lovely in the summer. Red Sea - so nice, with so beautiful fauna and flora. Lake Balaton, Hungary - my favourite freshwater lake. Places I would like to visit one day: Well, the list is just too long :-) One thing is sure, there are many tropical islands on the list :-)

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

Raw fruits, vegetables, salads, seeds and nuts. Dehydrated raw food. Frozen desserts ("fruit ice-creams"). Nakd bars Soya drinks

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:

I really like spiritual books, like books on Nondualism, Buddhism etc. Like books by Eckhart Tolle, Osho, Adyashanti etc. But I also love quality fantasy and sci=fi books (e.g. Frank Herbert, Arthur C Clarke, Robert Jordan, Raymond E Feist etc.)
