More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I believe that compassion shouldn't be limited to human beings, and that eating meat and dairy products - with all the suffering and cruelty that goes on in that industry - is incongruous with being compassionate.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

I'm always on the prowl for vegan eats!

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

I've been many places, seen many things, and met many people. I'd like to road trip across the US.

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

Anything from Green Vegetarian Cuisine in San Antonio, Tx. I love Oogave, an all-natural agave-sweeted vegan soda (my favorites flavors are strawberry rhubarb and watermelon cream).

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:

If you're an omnivore or a vegetarian wondering "Why should I go vegan?", read Main Street Vegan. If you're determined to make the transition from Omni or vegetarian but are struggling with how to do it, read Vegan In 30 Days. (It worked for me.)
