More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
First of all environmental reasons and then the scandalous industrial meat production plus it feels better for my body. I remember the happy moments eating all the non-vegetarian dishes and their tastes well, but not adjusted to that diet anymore. Thankful though that evolution came up with the principle of eating each other... as long as I don't "meat" a hungry carnivore in the wildlife I guess.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I had to...it was the only service that was offering what I was looking for. Thank you so much for the wonderful app and site!
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
Amsterdam: Hummushouse, Meatless District Antwerpen: Falafeltov Düsseldorf: The Lord (in a mall/foodcourt, but so worth it) Lisboa: Jardim dos sentos (terrace!!!) t.b.v. Essen (DE): VeganisierBar
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Professor Grunschnabel: http://www.grunschnabel.nl/
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
Seriously? Ah... I guess books, movies and magazines that relate to the focus of this site LOL Actually I am today still impressed by that documentary I saw about Dr. Temple Grandin. Just found her website as a reference for now: http://www.grandin.com/ [..and will read what it actually says later - promise ???? ]
