- I cannot find reasons why to eat meat - so I don't eat it. I couldn't kill an innocent animal by myself - so I don't pay anyone to do it for me. I am just thinking logically - I don't like slaughterhouses - so I don't support them - so I don't eat meat. Animals are my friends - and I don't eat my friends. And I don't want anyone to eat my friends. I love watching fishes swimming around me when I am scuba diving - but I don't like to watch them swimming in oil in a pan. I love to stroke a sheep on the field - I don't want to see it on a butcher's hook. Almost all people I know don't like blood and slaughterhouses - but they don't mind going to McDonald's to eat a Hamburger. That is illogical and irrational. I don't understand them - They kill innocent animals because of taste, habits and convenience. It is hard to change habits, I know, but: "Only dead fish swim with the stream." "Nur tote Fische schwimmen mit dem Strom." (German) (Author unknown) I am a very lively one.
