Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I am a transitioning into the vegan lifestyle. What began as a way to eat healthy and lose weight has turned into something that's part of a greater cause. I always thought I could NEVER stop eating animal products but I was in for a surprise. I truly believe animals are our friends and not our source of food.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
Its awesome to discover vegan restaurants around my area and when I'm out of town I can just plug in a zipcode and locations are right at my fingertip!
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I love Plant Strong. I am eager to try 3 Brothers Vegan Pizza. I've read stellar reviews about them plus they were recently mentioned in VegNews magazine.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
I love Sweet Earth burritos, the new dairy free Ben & Jerry's ice cream selections
