More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I am new to the vegetarian/vegan community, however I have always been into animal rights. I've never been much of a meat eater, but I've always loved my cheese and yogurt. After forcing myself to watch Vegucated and getting my latest cholesterol test results back, I decided it is better for me and the environment to go all the way!

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

I found this community through my research of "how to become a vegan for dummies" =) and I was looking for an app on my phone that would help me out in the beginning.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

I'm active duty air force and therefore move a round a bit. Even though I was not fond of living in Colorado Springs, I found the vegetarian/vegan friendly atmosphere very condusive to my already healthy living habits. My ultimate goal is to visit India to spend time in an ashram.

There is this absolutely wonderful Cafe in Miami called Mi Vida Cafe that has the most amazing raw vegan pizza. It tops the scale of any pizza I have ever had! I also love anything Indian. Actually, I love all food... =)
