More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I prefer to eat vegan because I have deadly milk allergies. All you vegans out there help me have access to dairy free desserts, and restaurants where I can eat anything on the menu. Thank you all!

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

I want to leave reviews showing the validity of restaurants' claims that they are vegan friendly. Since I am a walking dairy indicator, I am in a unique position to let you real vegans know when a business is lying to you about what they put in their food.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

Bean in Charlotte, NC is so good and so so unhealthy, in a good way. I love fried food. Their Reuben is to die for. Heureuse Vie in Sapporo, Japan was absolutely amazing. When I went they were mostly a raw food cafe. I love that such a place exists. Luna's in Charlotte has some great smoothies.

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

I love all food that will not kill me. Mirza ghasemi is one of my all time favorite foods, which, now that I think about it is vegetarian. You could probably omit the eggs and still enjoy it. I make vegan mac & cheese for myself occasionally.

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
