Kimberly here, it is great to meet you, thanks for contacting me at Happy Cow. I have been vegan 2.5 years now. I wish we met sooner as I just had a big vegan Thanksgiving party on 11/22 at my music Studio in Naperville, of course I would have invited you! I plan on hosting another vegan Thanksgiving next year. Are you on Facebook?

Wow, 6 months ago!! I added you on Facebook, I actually have 2 of them, both as Kimberly V Steele (V is for Vegan) and Kimberly Steele. There is actually a HUGE vegetarian festival in northeast Naperville every August called VeggieFest. http://www.veggiefestchicago.org/
My (vegan) husband and I go every year, it is great. There is also a festival called Veganmania in Chicago in September. I will write more reviews of restaurants for you...actually, one place I go to that I don't see mentioned on Happy Cow is a Chinese place called Ma Po. They have a ton of vegan food. We should get together soon~
