- I have been vegetarian for many years. I tried unsuccessfully many times to go vegan, but have finally made the transition about a year ago. Eating out is still a challenge for me, but I feel great about finally making the change. I also did dog rescue for many years, but had to stop at least for now. I live with 8 dogs and they take up most of my free time. I hope to continue finding ways to advocate for animals and the environment.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I travelled around Asia in my 20s. I would like to see more of the U.S., having spent my life on the east coast. I also hope to volunteer in an African country one day and tour some of that continent.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Boca chic patties, seasoned rice vinegar, tofutti cream cheese and sour cream, Amy's frozen dinners and canned soups
