Hi, I'm an American living in Spain. I was vegan for five years before I moved to Spain, then I stopped everything for five years, and now I'm back on it forever. It was so easy to turn a blind eye and find an excuse for everything when I was in a new environment with a new culture wanting to "experience" everything--basically, I put myself first. I've committed to vegan for life and I've never felt better.
