More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

What started out as a Meatless March Challenge, turned into a lifestyle. I am a happy little Vegetarian with Vegan tendencies and am very big on the health benefits and passionate about animal rights.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

It's hard to find Vegetarian and Vegan options on my own. especially with eating out. I wanted to find a site that could help me discover more restaurants that supported my lifestyle. Also, I don't know many Vegetarians personally so it'd be nice to meet someone with the same moral and health choices as I have!

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

California. All the way. :)

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

Bananas, Mangos, Avocados, Cashews, and Almonds.

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:

"Eat, Pray, Love" The book, not the train-wreck of a movie. The Fruit Hunters Documentary on Netflix. Totally makes you fall in love with fruits even more.
